Self Help
If you have questions regarding family law, child support, guardianship, landlord/tenant, or small claims cases, you may visit or contact the court’s Resource Center and/or Family Law Facilitator for assistance. Our staff can provide practical legal information, answer your questions regarding process and procedure, and review your completed forms.
All services provided are free, on a first-come, first-served basis. The Resource Center’s only requirement for providing services is that you do not have an attorney. Our Family Law Facilitator and Resource Center staff do not provide legal advice, are not your attorney and no attorney-client relationship is created as a result of any information or services provided to self-represented parties. This means that communications are not privileged and that services may be provided to both parties to a case. You should consult with your own attorney if you want personalized advice or strategy, to have a confidential conversation, or to be represented by an attorney in court.
We currently offer services in the following areas of law:
If you need assistance with other types of cases, please see our list of community resources and other helpful links.
